Cody von Rueden is from Northbrook, Illinois, and grew up playing youth hockey for the Chicago Young Americans. Cody played four years of Junior A hockey in the USHL and NAHL. After his NCAA career at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, he worked in Hockey Development for the Washington Capitals and LA Kings. Cody has been coaching hockey for over 15 years, and currently resides in Chicago as a corporate attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Cody is passionate about working with kids because you can learn from them as much as they can learn from you!
