Skate for Scholarships is a peer-to-peer multi-sport fundraising event that aims to provide inner-city children with a quality education.
This event is made possible in partnership with our friends from the Chicago Gay Hockey Association (CGHA). All proceeds benefit the Inner-City Education Program.
How to Participate
Join us by becoming a Participant! It is easy to set up a fundraising page as in Individual or a Team and help us raise money towards our overall fundraising goal.
As a Participant/Team Lead, you simply need to click on the sign up link below and follow the on-screen directions to set up your fundraising page. On your page, you will set your fundraising goal and commit to skate, bike, run or walk any distance you want on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from any location you want.
Please note this fundraising campaign will remain open through September, so if you cannot commit to August 14th, no worries, you can pick a day that works best for you or your team as long as it is before the end of September. It is all about raising funds for these underprivileged kids!
All proceeds raised from every Participant/Team fundraiser is connected to our overall fundraising campaign goal of $50,000. The average cost of an annual scholarship through our program is $5,000, so if we hit our goal we will change the lives of at least 10 inner-city children!

#2 – Donate on someone’s Individual or Team Page. Note: To support us through a Participant/Individual or Team Page fundraiser, you can click on their name from this page. If they are not listed, you will need to contact them to obtain a link from the participant or team lead after they have setup their fundraising page.
